From today’s UK Daily Mail, Sunday Edition:

Former Highland home of satanist Aleister Crowley up for grabs

BYERS from all over the world are queuing up to buy a piece of land once owned by satanist Aleister Crowley.

The 1.9-acre plot at Boleskine Estate on the shores of Loch Ness is on the market for £176,000 and agents have had inquiries from as far afield as Australia, Canada and the USA.

Crowley owned the estate from 1899 to 1913 and his experiments with the occult led to him being branded “the wickedest man in the world”.

There were countless tales of depraved devilworshipping ceremonies at the Highland site involving drugs, sex and animal sacrifices.

Rock star Jimmy Page, who owned the estate in the mid 70s, claimed there were “bad vibes” at Boleskine.

The plot comes with permission for a three-bed log cabin and a 140ft stretch of the loch.

Agents Strutt and Parker said: “People seem intrigued by Aleister Crowley and the goings-on at Boleskine but most are just asking about the site and what it offers.”
