Hate

hatemail

They say the best sure way to know you’re doing something right is by the amount of hate you get. Well, if that’s a correct assumption then I must be as right as rain, because I get more than my fair share of hate mail… and from all corners, believe you me.

Just this week alone I’ve had emails from an exorcist explaining to me that ghosts are just demons in disguise and I was in league with them, an Odinist who berated my interest in ceremonial magick and Aleister Crowley, a disgruntled author whom I’d written a negative review of, and a game designer who had a similar idea as mine who was seemingly most upset that I’m not focusing on my art or writing and instead competing with him in his area of interest.

And that’s just since Sunday evening.

It’s a constant flow of negative energy, from all corners of the internet.

I am a passionate individual with many and varied interests. I actually see them as all being interconnected. One fuels the other and vice versa.

I will not apologize for being a well-rounded and all-consuming purveyor of whatever catches my fancy.

Some are passing whimsies. Others are lifelong pursuits. All, in toto, make up who I am… intellectually and spiritually. So sorry if that offends your delicate sensibilities.

  1. The sound of a gavel struck three times echoes from an upstairs room.

    • “Let me tell you about heartache and the loss of god
      Wandering, wandering in hopeless night
Out here in the perimeter there are no stars
      Out here we is stoned
      Immaculate.”
