Imhotep the African: Architect of the Cosmos

bauvalbrophyBold. Groundbreaking. Meticulous. Factual? Well, that remains to be seen, but I was enthralled by Bauval and Brophy’s sometimes brash, but ultimately compelling interpretation of the Pharaoh Djoser’s Chancellor in Imhotep the African: Architect of the Cosmos.

This is a dense work, packed full of information that you will struggle to keep straight and process, but it is well worth the effort.

I have a pretty intense background in anthropology and archaeology and believe that anyone with similar interests will be swept away by the authors’ research and attention to every tiny little detail. This book positively sings with possibilities.

Following Black Genesis and The Egyptian Code, I’m happy to say that Robert Bauval and Thomas Brody have done it again.

Imhotep the African: Architect of the Cosmos is a fascinating read and will keep you pondering the revelations within long after you’ve set it aside.

I recommend it highly.
