LOST in Translation: All Roads Lead to the Island

Last night I had a dream… a dream about LOST. I suspect that once one begins dreaming about a television show that you are slipping into a whole other level of obsession, but we’ll ponder that delicate subject at some later date and time. For now, perhaps, we should take from my subconscious what kernels of truth we can.

In this dream I had stumbled upon a website with clips from the upcoming sixth season. So, not only was I dreaming about LOST, but I was dreaming about being on the computer, and by extension, dreaming about searching for LOST Spoilers on said computer — Houston, I think we have a problem.

Anyway, these clips made little sense as they seemed to depict the Castaways in different roles… There was Sawyer the Con-Man. Sawyer the Cop. Sawyer the Head of Dharma Security. And on and on… and not only him, but others in various roles, when it dawned on me (in the dream) that these Castaways, throughout not only Time, but in various incarnations in an infinite number of realities were… doomed… cursed… compelled… destined… to end up on the Island, eternally enslaved to the Game being played between Jacob and the Man in Black.

Season Six would lead us to this final confrontation between Light and Dark with neither side winning once the pawns in this cosmic chess match finally realized the nature of the conflict and removed themselves from play.

Then, just as the big reveal was about to be unveiled, I of course woke up. The dream had been so vivid that I wasn’t convinced that it had been a dream at all. I got out of bed and sat down at the PC and checked my browsing history to be sure.

Nope. Just a dream…

But still, one has to wonder… do all roads lead to the Island? Of course they do. Not only for the characters in this tele-drama, but seemingly for those of us obsessed as well.

When Groundhog Day rolls around I don’t think I need wonder if I will see my shadow or not.

LOL maybe the Dharma asks you why you are so obsessed with being lost – and its all one person playing a host of characters – you

  2. Kay P Hankinson Says:

I suppose it would be more correct to say one mind playing a host of characters.. you know.. like the books you write

what the dharma is all about…

  4. De De De du de de de du if you know what I mean……

  5. Kay P Hankinson Says:

‘abedah ab-ay-daw’ from 6; concrete, something lost; abstract, destruction, i.e. Hades:–lost. Compare 10.
10 ‘abaddoh ab-ad-do’ the same as 9, miswritten for 11; a perishing:– destruction.
    11 ‘abaddown ab-ad-done’ intensive from 6; abstract, a perishing; concrete, Hades:–destruction.

quite coincidently I am on the Hydra now.. it holds the Grail ( Crater ) on its back and the key to rejuvenation of body parts.

The pit of Abaddon holds the dead dharma staff coming back to life ?
seems it has to do with the two witnesses who were killed by the beast and three 1’2 days later came back to life and ‘stood up ‘ . 3 1/2 = the coils of the kundalini at the base chakra.
Jeepers how I wish I had the series and I am very busy on something else too
but sometimes the symbols point me back to this series – which is hard for me cause I don’t know it :)
If I come across anything will put it here
Btw 108 is the number of manifestations of the Bodhisattva Guan Yin

  7. Kay P Hankinson Says:

Alfard the head of the serpent
Hydra is the water snake an attribute of the letter NVN with a value of 756
the same as mahabn ; MVABAVN’ Rise up and walk’ (Acts 3,6):

  8. Kay P Hankinson Says:

obviously NVN is the fish and the Vesica Piscis

  9. Kay P Hankinson Says:

does that make Walt, Jesus ? Being special and having supernatural powers ?
OR is the pit the monster Shiva destroyer of life – the swan ( the hadron collider ) when it imploded

    4 8 15 16 23 42
    starting at 0
    +4+4+7+1+7+19 = 42
42 is the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything, in Douglas Adams’s five-book trilogy series The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. When Arthur Dent in the past discovers that the question itself was, is or will be “What do you get when you multiply 6 by 9?”, he says “I always said there was something fundamentally wrong with the universe.” However, within the later books, it is established that that was in fact not the actual question, due to Arthur, and most Human beings, being descended from interstellar travelers, and not the original primates of Earth, and is therefore not a part of the program to discern the question. It is found that, if anyone did know both the question and the answer to life, the universe, and everything, the universe as we know it would cease to be, and be replaced with something even more nonsensical.
This is not as nonsensical as one might suppose – however
the correct question and answer has been lost.. ( Grail mystery I think ? )

i mean and I am really laughing –
Hanso Foundation started the Dharma Initiative in an effort to try to change the variables in the equation so that mankind wouldn’t wipe it itself out.” [1]

all sounds a bit like timewave zero ( Terence Mckenna ) and the king wen to me
helped along by one John Sheliak scientist and physics boffin

which leads to that 2012 business and 11:11 and those two witnesses.
But I may well be way off whack here :)
There is a problem with numbers – 1 /64 is missing when using fractions and the wadjet eye
there are 64 trigrams 1 is heaven and the force – strong action > strong force. – one of the four universal forces which glues everything together
.. wish i had a better brain – its such fun and so addictive – mysteries – how would we learn without them ?
