Hm, it seems Scholastic has tapped acclaimed author and illustrator Kazu Kibuishi to supply new cover art to celebrate Harry Potters’ 15th Anniversary. The first of seven to come, this rendition of The Sorcerer’s Stone is really quite remarkable.

That’s great! The old art was throw-away, like they didn’t know what they had on their hands (especially the chapter-head doodles).
