No Parker Brothers today, but...

Pressing deadlines dictates that I postpone the next chapter in the Parker Brothers serial “Father Knows Best” until next week, unfortunately. I have two short stories due to their respective publishers expected by the first of the week and so am working feverishly to accommodate. In lieu of the latest snippet from our ongoing supernatural thriller I present in its stead the illustration above — a character from my latest so-called work-in-progress, an occult detective fantasy novel which is as yet “Untitled”, which considering the story might make for a fitting title in and of itself.

Nevertheless, I present to you Salystar Blutraben of the Tower of Freewizardry — a brilliant but cantankerous necromancer with an affinity for being in precisely the right place at exactly the wrong time — a mentor, of sorts, to my story’s protagonist.
