Happy Birthday, Jimmy Page

Jimmy Page, born on January 9, 1944, turns 69 today. He’s been a hero of mine since I was about thirteen years old. His unique approach to the guitar and skills as a producer, coupled with his carefully cultivated mystique, elevated him from being more than just a brilliant musician — to me he was a wizard, wielding the very power of the gods themselves. Page was a tremendous influence and one I’m extremely thankful for.

Happy Birthday, Jimmy Page. May your Lesser Feast be filled with magick and wonder.
