There can only be one William Blake.
However, it’s interesting to me how his verse and Emily Dickinson sometimes complement each other in both form and content.

Honestly, I think the sometimes irregular metrics of their lines, as well as the penchant for shorter lyrics with somber themes may be it. However, I’m just going of my memory of the two poets. I haven’t ready either Blake or Dickinson in at least a year and a half.
