Saturday’s Used Bookstore Haul

A stroll down nostalgia lane today as I came away with a veritable treasure trove of iconic childhood memories… and best of all it cost me nothing. We traded in some old Life Magazine coffee table books and in exchange received portals into worlds of mystery, magic, and wonder.

    The Three Investigators were one of my all-time favorites. Jupiter, Pete and Bob made a great team.

    Are there new books in the series? Gar is an avid mystery reader and would probably be very interested. I will have to go the library and see what they have.

    thank you for the memory of a great author and series to share with my kids.

      I loved them as a kid. After I plowed through all the Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew books I could get my hands on, discovering the Three Investigators was a godsend.

      Not sure if they’re still being produced, but I’ll track down as many of the originals as I can get my hands on so Connor can read them once he’s old enough…
