You can’t go wrong with any of Mark’s work, but I would recommend Other Gods for your first dip into Rainey waters.

Nice job. now I’ve got to go read some of his work. I always feel a bit ignorant of the genre, when I come across so many good authors I haven’t read, and so many bad ones I have.

Well, Tom Sniegoski’s coming up next month and if I recall rightly he’s a clean shaven gent… and I’ve hopes to snag one of the fairer sex shortly after that, so there you go. May and June we shall strive to be beard free.
